Inspired by the maritime city of Liverpool. Beatles Blue focusses on marine tones while also adding a very subtle lightness to midtones and highlights to create a well balanced preset.
This Preset Is Great For: Portrait, Architectural / Urban, Cinematic Effects
Colour Pallette: Marine, Teal, Aqua, Blue, Pink, Matte Finish
Beatles Blue's main feature is that it replaces black tones with a matte teal / blue hue which creates a nice social media style filter. I think it works particularly well on portraits! Like you can see on the picture above, it doesn't over inflate the skin tones, it adds a light pink highlight, while it also includes a unique color grade to the background bokeh.
Beatles Blue was developed professionally using a paid professional Adobe Creative Cloud plan, but it is free to anyone because its also compatible with Lightroom Mobile for iOS or Android! See the installation instructions below.
Lightroom presets produce a perfect baseline on your image editing journey and may require slight adjustment depending on your exposure. I recommend hitting the auto button on the light section if the initial application doesn't work.
