Urban Winter - Preset for Lightroom Mobile, Desktop CC & Classic

A moody contrast that creates a nice balance of BLVCK and white with a subtle skin tone. Great for urban portraiture, photos in colder and moody weather and inner city exploration! I always go to this preset when shooting in the snow, it creates a great contrast between the weather and cityscape environment!

This Preset Is Great For: Portrait, Architectural / Urban, Still Life.

Colour Pallette: Steel, Silver, Chrome, Black, Charcoal, Slate

I've tested this preset on a catalogue of 1,000+ images, and it creates such a great effect for a lot of image styles. Lightroom presets produce a perfect baseline on your image editing journey and may require slight adjustment depending on your exposure. A top tip would be to press auto on the light settings to see how the software will adapt the photo.

How to Save This Preset on Your Device

Lightroom Mobile / Tablet:

  1. Tap the three dots in the top right hand corner
  2. Click create preset
  3. Add a preset name
  4. Select the preset group
  5. Select the settings that you want to save
  6. Hit the tick icon 

Lightroom Desktop (Classic):

  1. On the left hand menu, tap the + icon by the Presets header
  2. Click create preset
  3. Add a preset name
  4. Select the preset group
  5. Select the settings that you want to save
  6. Hit the create button
